Light Weight Bullet Proof Helmet – NIJ Level III A

OVERVIEW

First-ever Induction of Modern Anti-Ballistic Protective Helmet For the Indian Air Force.

Extensive research and trials were conducted using the best Aramid fabrics from all major brands globally.

The most cost-effective recipe was identified and deployed in a time-bound manner to result in desired ballistic protection performance while keeping costs under the budget. The challenge was to maintain Stringent Norms for Back Face Signature(BFS) as compared to Global Standards in a BPH while remaining within global weight standards.

The performance and work ergonomics were of the end product were appreciated by the end-user leading to the award of a follow on order for 50% of the original quantity immediately upon completion of supplies of the original quantity.
